According to eyewitness, the came to rob a Pepsi brewery company in okoti odekpe ogbaru local governmen in Anambra state.
After their robbing the company, four made away with the money they got but unfortunately for two, a retired police man drinking across the road side crossed and caught them, though they shot him at the police man's leg.

The gun shots alerted the public and indeed young boys around.
''One ran into okoti eke market, we followed him there, we never wanted to beat him but guys started beating him when he dipped his hand in his pocket and threw all the unused bullets in his pocket into the air, it was picked and when discovered that it was bullet, guys started beating him, before the police could have got to the place they have been beaten almost to death'' said Aham an eye witness
''The other one was burnt to death by angry youths due to increased cases of armed robbery in the area. Police didn't see him on time to rescue him.'' he added.
