A man has shared an exhorbitant bride price list given to him by his groom-to-be's family in Hausa land.
It is widely believed that the igbo's from the eastern part of Nigeria has the most crazy and costly bride price but a list has surface to dispute this assertion even though Hausa's are known for very cheap bride price.
Sometimes, this costly bride price list makes men to have a rethink of whether to go on or not. Atimes, men resort to getting the girl in question pregnant first so as to make sure the bride price is reduced.
The shocked groom shared the moderate 'lefe' (the list given to a proposing groom in Hausaland) on social media, as he couldn't bring himself to ignore the exorbitant prices he was asked to pay which was running into almost a million Naira.
The man was also asked to pay N80,000 for underwear, N80,000 for cosmetics, N50,000 for an item listed as just 'fashion'.
