Indeed, Abia State is today challenged and backward among many states in Nigeria due to the poor performance of our politicians in office. The culture of not continuing projects initiated by previous administration and jumping to a new one that may never see the light of the day is one of the limiting factors.
If the successive government in Abia State had followed the master plan for the development of the State, by now, Abia would have been the envy of other states and a pride to it's citizens and indigenes.
Again, the present government has shown the highest level of impunity and irresponsibility since it assumed power in 2015. They succeeded in multiplying the sufferings and pains of the common man on the street.
There is no single sector in Abia State today that you can boldly credit this present government that it performed better instead they succeeded in increasing our debts while enriching their cycle.
Looking at pensioners protesting on the street grieves my heart. Workers are not adequately taken care off. Our educational system is loosing recognition and value on regular basis. Aba traders are struggling with heavy tax by multiple government agents. Keke operators and mini bus drivers are running from different touts (agbero's) positioned all over Aba and Umuahia metropolis, the surbub towns in Abia state. Our health facilities are now habitat for reptiles and other wild animals. We can no longer continue like this.
Hence, Mascot Uzor Kalu has taken it upon himself to wipe away the tears of Abians. He is determined and ready to deliver beyond our expectations. A vote for Mascot Uzor Kalu as the next governor of Abia State is a vote for our total restoration.
