In view of the recent rush to APC, Comrade S.O.B Igwe has said Alex Otti will make a good governor in Abia state.
In his speech, he said;
"In 2015, they were all in PDP . He felt the heartbeat of Abians and saw that Abia desired change . He saw tomorrow by knowing like everyone knew that PDP would not be fair in their primaries. He became pro-active, he did not wait for the primaries to happen but chose to Put Abia first ; not his business. He moved to a party not visible in Abia State(APGA); from where he showed cased leadership and made APGA a sought-after Party in the State .
He staked his life, his family, his finances, his business and political interests that Abia may be free. Many chickened out. Many who claim to be liberators today financed PDP in Abia during the 2015 election yet wanting power through the back door.
They remained in PDP, although knowing they would fail the primaries; they wanted a National Ruling Party at the time that will Protect their business and political interests. Even if they fail election in Abia, be it the primaries etc ; as a Key member of a National Party you are MOST likely to get a federal appointment, Unfortunately PDP failed to occupy the Presidency after the 2015 election.
Since 2015 till Now, despite juicy offers to join the ruling Party the APC, Dr Alex has stayed back and stayed put to build his Political Ideology in APGA - his Political Party and Abia First his political structure. Unfortunately most Igbo politicians do not have the guts and patience to build rather they want an already made platform that Protects their business interests and guarantees protection from EFCC which always backfires hence the sudden rush to where the grass is greener, the sudden rush to the ruling party the APC . Abians have been in the ruling Party (PDP) since 1999 to date . What do we have to show for it ?
Between 2015 and now ; Dr Alex Otti has remained the only visible opposition to the imposed Looting and irresponsible government of Dr Ikpeazu in Abia State.
Between 2015 and now, It is evident that Dr Alex remains the only person that can comfortably probe past administrations in Abia and recover our commonwealth stolen by a few.
This is why you can not find Dr Alex Otti in APC because the people who stole Abia dry are all in PDP and APC in today's Abia; except we do not know our history let alone telling ourselves the truth.
Having learnt our lessons in 2015, With the present political equation in the country, Abia still needs a Governor with integrity, international repute and connection to kickstart Abia,access grants and investments from multinational organisations for the overall development of the state.
We have a duty to Vote Otti Again and again Come 2019"
