The Police in Imo State yesterday, arrested one Mrs Promise Obinna, who poured an 11 year-old girl identified as Chika Nkwazema with hot water and ran away.
It was gathered that the wicked woman poured the hot water on the little girl after Chika’s siblings and Mrs Obinna’s children had a fight.
When she came back, she went to her kitchen and took water that was on fire and poured it on Chika, a primary six pupil.
The hot water affected Chika’s breasts, laps, buttocks, hands, face, back, legs and other places.
She became unconscious and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, where she is receiving medical treatment at the children’s ward.
Before the mother of the girl, Ngozi could come with some policemen from Orie Mbieri police station, where she went to lodge a complaint, the woman, her husband, Obinna, who is a keke driver and their three children had packed things out within a twinkle of an eye.
