Sowore's Party Writes Presidency, Seeks Permission To Use Aso Rock For Inauguration Of His Presidential Campaign

AAC Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has shared a photo of a copy of a letter he addressed to the Presidency, seeking permission to use Aso Rock to launch his presidential campaign council on November 11, 2026.

In a letter dated October 21, 2026, and signed by its National Secretary, Oshiokhue Philip, the party also requested food, drinks, and other logistical support for participants on the said day.

The AAC stated that its request was based on the principles of multiparty democracy, political inclusiveness, fairness, and equal treatment of political parties.

The Presidency is yet to respond to the request.
