Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has been defeated in her bid to lead the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) as its next president

The election, held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, saw the guild’s sitting National Secretary, Abubakar Yakubu, emerge victorious, succeeding outgoing president Emeka Rollas.
