Democracy as a system of government is one in which the masses are expected to elect their preferred candidate (representative) through voting.
However it does not only end with voting but voting right
Making choices that are not based on manipulations and social deceit but on competence, transparency and accountability, such are the underlying principle encompassing democracy as a system of government in a way that the representative of government possess and show such qualities.
Then the question pops up
WHY MUST WE VOTE DOGO!!
Before this pertinent question will be answered let us quickly run through the profile of this man "DOGO"
Chief iheanyi frank Chinasa popularly known as Dogo was born and raised in aba, abia state Nigeria to Mr and Mrs Jones Chinasa orji of Amamba in uzuakoli, Abia state Nigeria.
He had his primary and secondary education in aba.
With his undying love for education and progress he proceeded to the USA where he bagged different certificates and still maintaining his residence in Amamba uzuakoli,
He is currently the CEO of "cables N optics inc" Maryland USA.
He is also currently the candidate of the federal house of representatives for bende constituency, Abia state Nigeria under the labour party.
WHY THEN MUST WE VOTE DOGO?
First, Looking at and making careful observations of the first paragraph, a quote made by Ernest we are made to see some important qualities associated with a leader and a true one at that, obviously Dogo is an aggregate of all these qualities, he understands the plight of the masses and what they want (good governance)
Second,Creating a link to his person, the qualities and principles of democracy we see the undeniable fact that "Dogo is not only the man for the job but the man of the job"
His aspirations and love for his people has triggered him to be selfless,empathic and people oriented.
He is competent, industrious, transparent, articulate and result oriented.
His achievements in the States and in Nigeria speaks high volumes and shows his ability if voted in.
Third, Chief Iheanyi frank Chinasa has always wanted to serve. Little wonder in 2006 he was one of the PDP aspirants for Federal house representatives and has since then maintained his residence in Abia and abroad to keep abreast of the socio-political millieu in bende.
All he ever wants is to be the light through which his community sees and bring about great advancements and development to bende
He is fully equipped waiting to be offered the opportunity to serve his own people.
Fourth, Dogo is not an opportunists as seen in today's politics and people clamouring for political positions , he is a different man evident in his achievements abroad and his kind of man.
He will not live off or leach on the people of bende, he had always had their best interest at heart.
What about an interpersonal relationship with the people of Bende?
Well due to chief Frank Iheanyi's exposure and education he has been able to build strong professional and interpersonal relationship with people thus his soundness and ability to communicate right with the people.
Dogo sees education as an important venture thus his mantra "the best way to truly serve and be of value to any people is to properly equip one's self with knowledge and education"
Hence his interest in education and enlightenment of the people.
The list could go on and on and can never get exhausted.
Dogo is the man after the people bende's heart!!!!
His vision and mission are;
1. Building a system that ensures the safety and progressive development of the bende people
2. Working in partnerahip with both national and diasporan policies to deliver on and score progressive points on the scale of development in this seven core.
3. To promote a people oriented leadership
4. To become a vehicle of socio-economic welfare and justice.
