Obidogo Village Square meeting, the very first of the series, organized by Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa and his campaign team has received staggering feedback from Bendelites both home and away.
The majority of the indigenes rated the meeting as the first of its kind, but they also expressed their agenda's for the House of Representatives candidate of the Labour Party as he assumes office in 2023.
The program was hosted at Uzuakoli, Igbere, Item, Itumbauzo, Ugwueke, and Ozuitem village squares respectively; in collaboration with the village heads and traditional rulers.
In the course of the meeting, Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa spoke on the core areas of his agenda for the Bende people and received various feedback on crucial issues, as were affecting the entire Bende Local Government.
Lamenting that Lack of federal might is the reason there are a lot of developmental lapses, lapses which are the responsibility of the government.
Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the needs of Bendelites, the Labour Party candidate reeled out workable and realistic solutions to the basic challenges of both the people and their environment.
Explaining that for instance, empowering the youths, which was foremost on his agenda, knowing that infrastructure can only be properly enjoyed and sustained by youths who were empowered.
Stressing that financially empowered people can by all means continue to ensure the development of their community, without even waiting for the government.
Thereby creating a ripple effect of progress.
For Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the most important feature of the town hall meeting was the feedback he received from the indigenes; because according to him it would serve as a compass to guide him in providing their felt needs, beyond his plans for them.
He thanked them immensely, for their audience and promised to stay in touch with them.
The people commended the Obidogo village square meeting as a display of wisdom and a deep sense of commitment to responsibility; stressing that he stands out by far as a very viable choice for the office of the Federal House of Representatives, Bende constituency.
