Free Shoe to School Project has moved to Umunneochi Local Government.

To give back to the community especially to encourage pupils in rural primary schools, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in partnership with Abians in Diaspora, launched a free Sandal to schools initiative, to make sure pupils are kitted with neat made in Aba sandals.

The project which was coordinated by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth development and Job creation Mr.Chinenye Nwaogu, has recorded great successes as Nigerians have used the opportunity to touch lives in their localities while patronizing Aba shoemakers.

Yesterday, free sandals landed at Isuochi Primary School Amuda in Umunneochi LGA where over 100 pupils received free made in Aba sandals courtesy of Dr Chris Ike, former President of Abia Association in the US.
