Sir Dike made this remark when the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media Barr. Emperor Iwuala paid him a familiarization visit in the corporation recently.
Sir Dike commended the efforts of the governor in all areas of state administration and particularly for the governor’s recent approval to connect his corporation’s public power line to the national grid. He regretted that his stations sometimes go off-air because of lack of uninterrupted power supply. He however said that if finally connected to the national grid, the corporation would have improved power supply.
Reacting, Barr Iwuala also commended the government for giving the state a face-lift. He also remarked that BCA has a very clear and wide transmission network, experienced staff and quality radio and television programmes. He however, said that as an experienced media practitioner, he would partner with the corporation and also bring his experience to bear to make sure that the Ikpeazu-led government delivers on its mandate to the people.
He used the opportunity to also thank the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve the state as a media aide and promised to be dedicated to service.
