The Nigerian Bar Association has gone thanked all Conferees for participating actively at the just concluded 57th Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference (AGC) 2017.
However, there were series of complaints by most conferees during and after the conference.
In view of those complaints, the General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association,
Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, Esq issued a statement in that regard.
The statement reads:
Following the conference, we have received complaints that some of our members who registered for the conference are yet to receive their tablets. The NBA deeply regrets this situation and would like to reassure our members that the matter will be looked into and addressed.
To this end, the NBA is currently collating the names of our affected members and we request that all conferees who registered for the conference and are yet to receive their tablet should kindly forward their full names as well as proof of payment for the 2017 AGC to sarah.ajijola@nigerianbar.org.ng and beatrice.kemi@nigerianbar.org.ng. This must be received on or before the close of work on Friday 22nd of September 2017. Please Note that any document received thereafter shall not be treated.
Kindly Note that this information is for only lawyers who paid and duly registered for the conference.
We once again apologise for any inconveniences this delay might have caused.
