A Police Station located opposite Ariaria International Market Aba, has been set on fire by unidentified hoodlums.
The station was said to be set ablaze on last night following a rumor that theirs a clash between Hausa and Igbo's.

According to reports gathered by PCB, the station was set ablaze after a police man shot at visible boys patrolling around suspected to be IPOB members.
There were gunshots heard around (which were shot by soldiers following the rumour to scare way people). The policeman on duty shot gun to disperse gathering youths but they instead traced him to the police station, stabbed him and set the station on fire alongside buses around.
Those behind this act is yet to be identified and the reason for such act is yet unknown.
At at the time of filling this report, the Ariaria international market has been shut down. No market, bank or office is open in Aba.
